Just as we thought that celebrity flashing “mode” is done and over with (courtesy of our pussy-showy icon, Britney Spears), another star follows suit with a much more daring one – and more artistic. And she’s done a remarkably good job with it too.

Former child star Linday Lohan, otherwise known as Lalo, re-enacts Marilyn Monroe in a naked photo shoot done by New York Magazine. If we go way back in time, Monroe herself did a nude photo shoot in 1963 with photographer Bert Stern. That last shoot became known as “The Last Sitting.” Now, forty-six years has passed, and the same photographer has done it again – this time with Lalo.

It’s no surprise that Lalo was nervous portraying the 36-year old Monroe who’s been dead for 4 decades. But she was willing to reprise the former star with this straightforward answer in one interview: “I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”

That is amazing for Lalo, but how was she chosen after a hundred “bad girls” spurted in the Hollywood scene? Well, the popular photographer explained that he chose Lohan over controversial women like Britney Spears or Paris Hilton because she has a “lot more depth to her.”

Although this is old news, but we still wants to capture Lalo’s maturity through these naked photos. This Long Island native was not at all slutty compared to her other photos. Sure, we mostly love her bitchy self through those other pictures flashing pussies, slipping big nipples (sometimes bra-less), and getting drunk partying in a bikini top, but not one of her “paparazzi” photos can top her artistic nude shots.

Let’s just hope these “artistic” photos will pay off and get her back on her feet.
